Reflection: Chapter 1

My heart beats as I wait for the day.

When he picks me up out of my gray.

I have been waiting.

Here in the outer shell of my petals.

I wish he could have seen me blossom.

But he didn't.

So I wait.

and wait..

and wait..

Until he comes.

He looks fine today.

He has his eyes glued to his feet.

For when he looks up.

He screams of belief.

I know it's crazy as well.

That I could have these human characteristics as well.

It's just swell!

he asks me who I am.

I tell him I am an Angelica named Rei.

He Gasps.

I say, I was born from that flower you talk to.

You were the one to make me bloom.

He says I am crazy.

I say I am not.

I was born for a reason.

he was my reason.

He looked up at the sky.

He laughed a little.

Then Shiki said, I can't believe this came true.

I smiled.

We held hands.

We walked away.
